Mounting Orientation by Battery Type

Group 24, Group 27 & Heated Group 27

These versatile batteries can be mounted upright, on their side, or even upside down—perfect for tight builds or creative installs. Just make sure all mounting plates are securely fastened.

GC2 Series

GC2 batteries offer flexible mounting options: upright, side, or upside down. However, do not mount them on their front face (where the terminals would face down). As always, secure the mounting plates properly.

EX1 Series

EX1 batteries are designed specifically for upright mounting only. Other orientations can affect safety and performance. Always follow the EX1 12V User Manual for installation and use proper mounting hardware.

EX2 Edge Series

Need flexible install options? The EX2 Edge batteries can be mounted upright, on their side, or on their back—but not on their front face. For best results, use the EX-EX2-TDS Base Mounting Kit and ensure everything is tightly secured.
